34 Lessons
MindBodyAnime #157
Hello, hello.
It’s been awhile and I apologize for that. I just got back from a nearly 3-month travel across Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, and China.
Seriously a life-changing trip for me. Caught up with old friends, met some friends for the first time, and made new friends.
But most importantly, I came back home with plenty of new core memories.
Now it’s time to get back in the groove of things.
But first, I turned 34 today. So here are 34 lessons that mean something to me.
Everything is within.
Happiness is learned not earned.
Feeling is healing.
You choose your reality.
Don’t ignore your inner child.
Appreciate everything for what it is.
Everyone has a finite number of moments.
Respect different perspectives, but don’t forget your truth
Your outer world is a reflection of your inner world.
Your thoughts become your wishes, think carefully.
Do things that electrify your soul.
Use your heart as a compass.
Love yourself. Accept all parts of yourself.
The prize is who you become.
Have faith in uncertainty.
You are worthy.
Let go and be free.
Comparison equals misery.
Building trust with yourself starts with following your word.
You have already fulfilled wishes from your past self.
Be the director, actor, and writer of your own movie.
Give love without expectation of return.
If you focus on problems, that’s all you’ll get.
Live your dream life as much as possible.
You will never know yourself 100%, but you can learn for life.
The weight of your past only exists because you choose to carry it.
You probably won’t achieve your perfect life, but you can get pretty close.
Forgive and forget.
Expectations of you from others are just their own projected unfulfilled wishes.
Uncomfortability is temporary.
Finding people who truly support you is like finding a rare Pokemon.
It’s not about what happens, it’s about how you react.
Live life as an adventure.
You are a creator as long as you have an imagination.
These are the lessons that are important to me in this present moment. They’re not set in stone and could change next year, who knows.
I’ll probably expand on some of these ideas soon.
Trust the process, love the process.
Kevin
